Interview with Mary Quicke
One of the most exciting things I have enjoyed in my role writing for Tasting Britain has included interviewing chefs and food producers about the work they do. One such inspiring interview was when I met Mary Quicke from Quicke’s Cheese in Devon.
Keen on the whole slow food movement, Mary and I enjoyed talking about the ways in which small food producers are becoming revered and recognised within the household. Recently programs on television have really focused on getting to know producers and the ways in which food is made.
Mary is a strong character who has an infectious enthusiasm for cheese, all things dairy and slow food in general.
