Who I Am
Hi, I’m Laura – a freelance writer who delivers words that are agile, adept and at times deviant. Outside of the box, my thinking sparks creativity and helps set your brand apart from the others. For copy that commands attention, evolves curiosity and ultimately converts it into desire, choosing my words gets results.
Starting life in a small village on the North coast of Cornwall, I played the Game of Life in the ’80s and dreamed of becoming a journalist. Naively enraptured by the promised £20,000 (that was A LOT in 1988) salary and the thought of writing all day, I set about crafting stories; and never really stopped.
I create content and communications for The Cornish Seaweed Company and am a regular contributor to Tasting Britain; reviewing products and restaurants in the region.
A self-confessed pogonophile and galeophobe, I play with words so you don’t have to.
